This depends on your starting point and how often you study, but as a general guide, each CEFR level (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2) takes approximately 7–9 months, assuming you have guided lessons twice a week plus some extra practice on your own — whether through our app or in your own time.
The higher the level, the longer it takes to progress, since each stage builds on more vocabulary, nuance, and fluency. These timeframes are estimates — your teacher will track your progress and adjust your plan as you go.
Yes. You'll receive a certificate once you complete a level — whether through our self-paced platform courses or with one of our teachers, provided you pass the level's final assessment.
We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you let us know at least 24 hours in advance, we'll move your lesson with the teacher to another date free of charge. We understand things come up, so we're flexible — but we do ask that you avoid cancelling too often, as it affects your teacher's schedule and your own progress.
If you're not sure, take our free placement test or book a short assessment lesson with one of our teachers. We'll recommend the right starting level based on your speaking, listening, and grammar.
Self-paced courses let you study on your own schedule using our platform materials, with progress checks along the way. Lessons with a teacher add live guided practice, personalised feedback, and speaking practice — ideal if you want faster, more structured progress.
If you're having lessons with a teacher, we'd still recommend using our self-paced course alongside them as an additional practice tool to reinforce what you're learning.
Yes, we offer a trial lesson so you can meet your teacher, get a feel for our teaching style, and make sure it's the right fit before you enrol.
Just get in touch with us — we can pause your course or adjust your lesson times to fit changes in your schedule wherever possible.
